Professor Antony Fane is a world expert in membrane science and technology and has been working on membranes since 1973, serving as a former Director of the UNESCO Centre for Membranes at The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia and was the Founding Director of the Singapore Membrane Technology Centre (SMTC) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He is an advisor on novel technology to the Public Utilities Board (Singapore) and Sembcorp Watertech. Professor Fane is on the Advisory Board of the Journal of Membrane Science (a former editor, 1992 to 2005) and the Editorial Board of Desalination, an Honorary life member of the European Membrane Society and Patron of the Membrane Society of Australasia. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Science and Engineering and a recipient of the Centenary Medal in 2002 for services to Chemical Engineering and the Environment.

Dr. Krantz, with distinguished positions as Professor Emeritus at both the University of Colorado and the University of Cincinnati, boasts over half a century of expertise in different areas such as desalination, global climate change, and membrane science. Notably, he contributed as the Founding Director of the NSF Industry University Cooperative Research Center for Membrane Applied Science and Technology, and as an NSF Program Director, he played a role in establishing pivotal scientific divisions. With a history of collaborations across academia, government, and industry, Dr. Krantz has consulted for giants like the U.S. Department of Energy, Dow Chemical, and 3M Company. His impressive academic feats encompass principal roles in 152 grants and contracts, 250+ technical papers, 5 books, and 26 patents to his name.

Reza is a serial entrepreneur, business leader and coach. He’s a recognized visionary with an extensive track record in venture building and scaling across both startups and large enterprises. With a BA in mathematics and economics and an MA in quantitative economics from Boston University, Reza has been at the forefront of the early dot.com rise in Silicon Valley and SE Asia’s evolution into a global tech hub. He has deep ties to Southeast Asia’s entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem. He is a sought-out mentor, angel investor, corporate advisor and board member. He is also an active member of YPO, XA Network, and Asia Sustainability Angels (ASA). Reza also served as a Founding Member of IAB Southeast Asia & India (iabseaindia.com) and performed as Vice-Chairman at its inception. He currently co-chairs the Startup Network at the Singapore Institute of Directors.
